The Black & White Blues takes place in a restaurant purgatory where four waiters sing and dance their way through bitchy customers, while conquering the waiter lingo, working under the watchful eye of “management,” and having visions of The Fairy God-waitress, complete with big hair, magic wand, and order pad. With song titles like “The Cocktail Conga” and “Four Course Nightmare”, celebrity chef impersonations of Emeril Lagasse, Martha Stewart and an angelic Julia Child dueling in “Cookin’ on TV”, and the showstopper “Pork Sushi,” about raw pork wrapped in seaweed, this campy outrageous hit has it all!
With book and lyrics by Ricky Graham, and music by Harry Mayronne, this musical revue has sung to screams of delight in New Orleans, LA, where it has played for the last three years.
