The Meeting: The Interpreter

About This Show

Set against the backdrop of the infamous Trump Tower Meeting of 2016, the play tells the story of one man — an international interpreter — placed in the public and political eye, thrown up against government systems of congressional and senate interrogations, catapulting him into circumstances beyond his control.

The play is about the loss of individuality and privacy, inspired by a chance meeting between the playwright and the interpreter. The story becomes a parable for the destruction of human rights and how individuals must fight to preserve freedom.
