The Night Heron

Deep in the Cambridgeshire Fens (a sparse area of England), in the
short, sharp days of a freezing New Year, two unemployed gardeners, Griffin and Wattmore, struggle to survive on pennies and poached rabbits. Forced to take in a lodger, the intense and mysterious Bolla Fogg, their private world is revealed and turned upside down. The Night Heron is a searing and compassionate tragicomedy about the possibility of salvation. Neil Pepe directs.
