Vignettes for the Apocalypse 2008is a collection of eighteen one-act plays, dealing with dystopian, futuristic, and apocalyptic themes.

Artistic Director Russell Dobular and Dramaturg Bridget McKevitt have chosen pieces that reflect a diversity of writing styles, while representing a unifying vision of our culture and society, both past and present, as it faces the real possibility of imminent collapse. The subjects covered range from cryogenics, Scientology, and terrorist paranoia, to genetic mutation, the lunar educational system, and the real price for a gallon of gas, in the future.
