Afternight Seating

Toy Box Theatre Company presents Afternight Seating, a new play by Gabrielle Reisman. This two act dramatic comedy blurs the lines between reality and fantasy for six unsuspecting characters. Sensory overload, remote controls, subway sounds, cell phones, and pungent gravy draw friends and strangers together into a sometimes surreal and timeless experience set in a local diner. It’s also a love story between a college dropout who starts a comic book store and then falls for an upper middle class child of two left-over hippies from the sixties. Running time is two hours with intermission. Michael D. Holmes directs.
