Comedian/actor/playwright/commentator/author Charles Grodin, returns to Primary Stages for an evening of talk and humor to benefit the theatre company’s on-going artistic programs. During the evening, Mr. Grodin shares his amusing adventures on Broadway, in Hollywood, on TV, and in the radio and literary worlds. Newsweek called him “A natural born raconteur,” and The New York Times Book Review simply acknowledged him as “A first rate storyteller.”
Charles Grodin has appeared on Broadway in Tchin-Tchin, Absence of a Cello, and Same Time, Next Year. His film credits include Rosemary’s Baby, The Heartbreak Kid, and Midnight Run. He is currently a commentator for CBS News. Last season, Primary Stages presented the NY premiere of his play The Right Kind of People.
