Out of loneliness, Zeb, the personal assistant and best friend to fading pop superstar Cindy Hall, decides to take on a new roommate, Gerry. Upon arriving, Zeb becomes fast friends with Gerry, confiding in her that his new boyfriend, Ricardo, is an illegal immigrant and although they feel greatly for each other, are uncertain of their future together because of it. Gerry, in turn, confides in Zeb that she too has a secret – a passionate affair with rock sensation Tobin Grey. As the story unfolds more secrets are revealed, devastating the illusions and lives of each character, spotlighting America’s obsession with celebrity, and its tragic effects. Arpeggio is performed with a live rock band onstage, showcasing the talents of composer Alec Bridges and his compelling score.
