These unlikely teens fall headlong into the vortex of what it means to be a teenager in America. It is a story of violent teenage crushes, a beetle’s fatal desire for an ambivalent butterfly, a girl who drowns in a bucket of water and a gunfight. The piece slams together found text, dance, original writing and love ballads in a highly visual absurdist style to unleash the tiny, but catastrophic paradox of youth’s first love.
