Belles of the Mill

Belles of the Mill is set during the bitter winter of 1912 and the even more bitter strike that mobilized the workers and imobilized the town of Lawrence, Massachusetts. Amidst these turbulent events, an unlikely friendship develops between two very different women as their livelihoods, their moral convictions, and even their lives are threatened. Together, they face life-changing decisions with courage, humor and hope. This new musical features a book by Rachel Rubin Ladutke and music and lyrics by Jill Marshall-Work.
