Sharp wit, poignant honesty and Lysol-laden high jinks hit New York theater when Belly, Julie Tortorici’s one-woman show, comes to this year’s New York International Fringe Festival. Written by and starring Tortorici with direction by J. Brandon Thompson, the show is an afternoon in the life of Frannie, a housewife with a twist. A thoughtful and delightfully disarming hostess, Frannie riffs on such topics as Tae Bo, Cinemax and the ups and downs of marriage.
