But, What’s It All About?

In But, What’s It All About?, video/performance artist Ole Mads Vevle performs his own text accompanied by a video montage. The text is a dialogue between a father and his son in which the son repeatedly asks “But, what’s it all about?” as the father answers with different elaborations. Imitating the language of the television, the performance and accompanying video present a continuous stream of information mixing the high with the low, the comic and the tragic, the serious and nonsense.
