Cleansing the Senses

Co-founder of P.S. 122 Peter Rose returns to premiere a solo infused with the spirit of Open Movement, the seminal free-form performance discipline he introduced to NYC in 1979. Rose tests his limits as a performer in order to cleanse the senses and in turn, live and create more fully. This transfixing journey inward ultimately connects him to the other. Movement is incorporated with text and song performed in English, German, Polish, Yiddish and Hebrew, in a thematic frame of forgiveness, creation, love, prayer and redemption.
