Doctor Tedrow’s Last Breath

One September morning a hurricane surprises Bantam, Texas, killing 8,000 in their sleep. A century later, the weatherman still haunts the beaches. A requiem chorus of drowned souls; meteorology as metaphor and myth. Rooted in their native Southern storytelling with influences as divers opera and German Tanztheater, deep ellum creates this new work. Doctor Tedrow’s Last Breath, written & directed by Matthew Earnest, is the fifth show in the Soho Think Tank’s ICE Factory 2004 season.
