El Bolero Fue Mi Ruina

Based on the tale “Loca de la Locura” by Puerto Rican writer Jesus Manuel Ramos Otero, El Bolero Fue Mi Ruina pays tribute to a transvestite (Jorge B. Merced) who gets swept up in the music of the bolero to tell a tale of love, betrayal, death, and redemption. The piece has been adapted and directed by Rosalba Rolon, Artistic Director of Pregones Theater.
