Written and performed by Judi Lee Brandwein, Fornicationally Challenged follows the hilarious misadventures of a recently divorced woman – over 40 and at her sexual peak – who returns to the singles’ scene after nearly two decades and discovers new rules of dating in a world where hormones surge, sex has strings attached, and men come in different shapes and sizes. “Thirty-five-year-old men are the new women!” observes Brandwein of her dates who want a commitment while all she wants is a little action.
Fornicationally Challenged was developed in the solo workshop at Travis-Johntz Productions in Los Angeles where it opened to rave reviews and was recommended by the Los Angeles Times, LA Weekly and Metro LA. It comes to New York as part of the New York International Fringe Festival.
