About the Show

Black Rocking Chair Productions presents Go Robot Go at the New York International Fringe Festival.

The show is a rock-n-roll morality fable about a girl in the city tempted and taunted by fast food, credit cards, happy pills, and corporate burn out. Go Robot Go reinvents classical form by including a live chorus of musicians on stage marrying modern rock music with antique Greek Chorus. Using elements of dance, poetry, videography, and music, Go Robot Go creates a performance experience that is definitively theatrical. Written by Julie Shavers and directed by Daniel O’Brien.
