About the Show

Arthur Reel’s adaptation of Joseph Conrad’s classic novella Heart of Darkness is performed by Drama Committee Repertory Theatre. The show depicts Charles Marlow’s quest up the African Congo to find the enigmatic Mr. Kurtz. Marlow’s search for this one mysterious man mirrors society’s struggle with colonialism, imperialism and racism which have led mankind to spiral downward into its own darkness.

All proceeds from the performance on Friday, November 16th will go to the New York Police & Fire Widows’ & Children’s Benefit Fund.

Matinee Performances: $15
Evening Performances: $20

Discounts: Seniors and students receive $5 dollars off for both the matinee and evening performances. Valid student I.D. must be presented at the box office to receive the above discount.
