In Inside a Bigger Box, a subdued, introspective woman searches for meaning to her life by peeling back and examining the bizarre layers of her “reality,” including a husband obsessed with launching an office art show based on Post-Its, a sister compulsively reading a romance novel, and her own dangerous fascincation with Twinkies. WIth black humor, Trish Harnetiaux’s play narrates the protagonist’s need to escape a stale and shrinking world to reclaim her sense of purpose and self.
