Life Interrupted

In Life Interrupted, Spalding Gray celebrates his 60th birthday with a surprise trip to Ireland. Arriving on the longest day of the year, Gray has one of those “perfect moment” experiences: sunset at 11:30pm, children playing, great food and friends. The next day, Gray, his wife and 3 friends are hit head-on by a wild Irish driver. Two operations later, Gray recounts his observation on the Irish culture, socialized medicine and learning to walk again. Upon his return to the US, Gray needs to deal with another operation and moving to a larger house. Moving day is set for September 11, 2001…
