Lost Cabaret or KatanDogastrophic

About the Show

Intermedia Foundation presents Lost Cabaret or KatanDogastrophic at the New York International Fringe Festival. The production is a comedic poem play inspiring a dance between men and women, space and time. It is made up of a puppet chorus, a sultry Kat and naughty Dog, and five scenesters testing the bounds of their relationships to each other and to reality. The play takes place on a surrealistic beach, bed, highway, and other mindscapes of the moment. It is part party, part poem, and part spectacle, inviting the audience to envisage our information age where it is sometimes easier to quote strangers than to express simple emotions.

The show is written by Gerd Stern, directed by Kate Temple-West, sound designed by Charlie Morrow, set and light designed by Caitlin McCleery.
