M 2 O Plays Tango – featuring Astor Piazzolla’s Music

M2O Violinist MACHIKO OZAWA and pianist MAKIA MATSUMURA begin a partnership as an innovative musical duo. Although they have been classically trained at the Julliard School, they enjoy very diverse backgrounds. Machiko is also a fine tap dancer, while Makia has been developing skills as a tech-savy engineer alongside her career as a composer. The combination of such eclectic talents is really a rare find. These two musicians effortlessly jump between genres and bridge the gap between analogue and digital sounds. Their repertoire covers a wide range of musical styles, including jazz, tango, film music, world music, avant-garde, electro-acoustic… Their curiosity is unlimited.
