My Life As You

Waverly Writers Collective in association with ETC Theatre Company presents My Life As You, a full-length psychological comedy that touches on the very core of what troubles young people and women today: their minds. Talk about the grass being greener on the other side. When Stella, a young San Francisco advertising executive breaks up with her boyfriend she decides to quit everything and “rediscover” herself in Chicago with her very similar friend Diana — but things hardly go as planned. A friendly competition sparked by an old rivalry becomes a psychological duel of epic proportions and the sparks (and laughs) fly as the two women try to become what they think will make them happy: each other. It’s a play that examines obsessive female friendships.
