Pearl River

Stacy Dawson and David Neumann borrow the most superficial aspects of Asian cultures (Japanese anime, Hong Kong kung fu movies, Peking Opera), mixing them with equal parts drag and sci-fi in Pearl River, an assemblage of “Chinoiserie gone bad.”
