Roma Music & Dance of Hungary: Honvéd Ensemble (New York Gypsy Festival)

This Budapest-based company, which has created a new school with its dramatic works for dance theatre, will be making its U.S. debut with a program of Gypsy traditions from the Carpathian Basin. Fourteen dancers are featured under the direction of Ferenc Novak, with accompaniment by the Lindri Ensemble. Roma Music & Dance of Hungary is presented as part of the First Annual European Dream Festival.
