Seven Layers of Skin

Seven Layers of Skin is a collaborative collage of performance by women cutting across cultures. Through candid conversation with the audience, stylized movement, belly dancing, and song, the characters and audience journey together through the wonder and pain, the personal and collective memory held in our skin. Issues explored include shedding, lynching, skin creams, and the eternal search for touch, for love.
