Tale of 2Cities: An American Joyride on Multiple Tracks

About the Show

Heather Woodbury’s Tale of 2Cities: An American Joyride on Multiple Tracks is a bi-coastal world premiere, presented in association with UCLA Live.

A Tale of 2Cities is the epic, multi-track tale of urban erasure — and renewal — in the wake of the Brooklyn Dodgers’ move to L.A. In this, her first non-solo show, Woodbury, winner of the inaugural Spalding Gray Award, crafts an ambitious and touching journey animating the American Dream and the immigrant experience. A modern-day Latino DJ spins together this collision of life-stories, spanning decades and neighborhoods, connecting 100 different lives to our own.
