London-based Skullduggery Theatre Company presents The Life and Times of a Wonder Woman by Terry Newman. From Amazonian princess to 50s comic book heroine to 70s TV icon, this woman is forever. Actress Tara Henry and award winning director Michael Eriera reveal the inner life of the high-kicking, villain-flooring, lasso-twirling super-heroine inside every woman. Newman’s new writing explores the myth and reality of powerful women via the daily life of a raven-haired, arse-kicking superstar, who fights the force of evil in her hot pants and tiara. She also enjoys dishing the dirt on her fellow super-heroes. Superman lives up to his name in bed, and Batman wasn’t as camp as he looked, but she was never sure about Robin…
This show is presented as part of the New York International Fringe Festival.
