The Life + Death of Kenyon Phillips

The Life + Death of Kenyon Phillips is a 90-minute rock opera that uses an interactive cabaret-variety show format – complete with burlesquers, aerialists, and other circus acts – to explore the past, present and future of downtown performance artist Kenyon Phillips. Kenyon says his inspiration for the project came from a desire “to take the traditional one-man show idea of ‘here’s my life story,’ and throw a grenade in it.”
