The Shaw Project, now celebrating its twentieth year of presenting the plays of Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries, continues its series with a double-bill of one-acts: The Man of Destiny and Augustus Does His Bit. The plot of both plays involves a military officer being outwitted by a clever woman. The setting of each play is in a different period, and the officers in question are also very different in temperament, the first being none other than Napoleon Bonaparte and the second the rather dim-witted and pompous Lord Augustus.
