Based on Charles Dickens’ final and unfinished novel, this interactive musical theatre experience is set in 1892 England and centers around the character of young Edwin Drood, who has been mysteriously murdered by an unidentified culprit. The tale is presented as a show-within-a-show, as the Music Hall Royale — a delightfully loony Victorian theater company — performs Dickens’ brooding mystery. Unfortunately, Dickens passed away before revealing the culprit, so unlike other shows, this one invites the audience to solve its mystery — the audience votes on which character murders Drood (and chooses a romantic pairing of characters, as well as the identity of a mystery detective).
