The Tempest

Shakespeare in Carroll Park began with a five actor adaptation of Romeo and Juliet in 2010, and since has grown to a program that hires over thirty artists, draws thousands of spectators and garners the highest possible awards.

This June, Smith Street Stage will present its seventh annual installment of the Shakespeare in Carroll Park series with Shakespeare’s swan song, The Tempest, a darkly comic story of magic, romance, revenge and forgiveness.
