Yardbird

Set in a leafy enclave of the Bronx, Yardbird tells the story of Ivan Barrow, a young man with a secret. Ivan inhabits a world filled with jazz music, compulsive neatness and the less than subtle prodding of his mother Evelyn. Things take an interesting turn when Ivan’s carefully planned days are tilted off-center by the introduction of a quirky young woman, Amanda. Amanda’s presence challenges Ivan’s carefully ordered existence and as her visits increase, Ivan is forced to examine the possibility that the safe world he’s created may be overwhelming that balance of his mind.
