Piano Jazz Series: Jill McCarron

Join us for an unforgettable evening of jazz with acclaimed pianist Jill McCarron, performing live at Klavierhaus. Born in Minneapolis and raised in Canada, Jill is a graduate of Toronto’s Humber College, where she studied jazz performance and arranging under Ron Collier, Duke Ellington’s arranger in the 1970s. After moving to New York City, she honed her craft at the New School with mentors like Richie Beirach, Kenny Werner, and Jim Hall. A celebrated artist, Jill has won prestigious competitions including the Great American Jazz Piano Competition and has performed at iconic venues such as Dizzy’s Club at Lincoln Center, The Blue Note, and the Carlyle Hotel. Her latest album Gin, featuring Vincent Herring and Randy Brecker, recently soared to #11 on the JazzWeek chart.
