Songs From the Heart (Broadway Goes to the Dogs) features Broadway stars who have and love dogs, singing about what makes our 4-legged-friends so special. All proceeds from this evening of song go to Stray From the Heart Canine Rescue, a non-profit animal rescue organization in NYC that has saved over 200 dogs dogs in it’s first year of operation.
The doggie-loving cast includes Deborah Gibson (#1 Billboard Artist, Les Mis), Rue McClannahan (The Golden Girls, The Women), Alix Korey (Wild Party, 45 Secconds From Broadway), Marc Kudisch (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Heather MacRae (Falsettos), Mark Nadler (MAC Award Winner), John Sloman (Music Man), Cheryl Stern (I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change), Jamison Stern (By Jeeves) and Barbara Walsh (Big). The show will be musically directed by Phil Hall, directed by April Nickell and features photography of the stars and their dogs by Beth Kelly.
Two drinks are included in the ticket price.
