“ZELL KRAVINSKY’S SYSTEM FOR REAL ESTATE ”
WITH RENOWNED REAL ESTATE MOGUL AND PHILANTHROPIST
DR. ZELL KRAVINSKY
Dr. Kravinsky’s seminar will discuss the system he designed and sharpened in the course of successful investments in commercial real estate investments. Real estate investment professionals and fund managers will find some material familiar and some new and original to Dr. Kravinsky’s work. Individual investors will receive information at a far higher and more profitable level than the slew of “seminars” and books that (at large cost to consumers) have recently commanded half of America to buy trashed houses with little money down and pound away at them, a slow and unspectacular way to get rich. That is street-level painfully managed real estate, and it comes with a thousand headaches and an alarming vulnerability to interest rate rises. This seminar will teach a more abstract, niche investment – a hybrid comprised of real estate and a de facto financial derivative – and forms of business and charitable organization and tax structures that maximize it, and will consider the disadvantages of alternative investments. Dr. Kravinsky will be available at the end of the day, and if necessary, will remain in New York to talk to participants about their individual concerns and, in the case of charities, to discuss possible pro bono contributions of his expertise.

ABOUT DR. ZELL KRAVINSKY
Dr. Zell Kravinsky began real estate investing in 1978 at the age of 23 and continued through his twenties while he taught socially and emotionally disturbed ghetto youths. Ten years ago, starting with very little, he plunged into major acquisitions, using a system he designed himself. In the past year, Dr. Kravinsky donated 45 million dollars to charity, mostly to global public health, capping his latest donations with a gift of his kidney to a stranger, an African-American woman, who would otherwise have died of kidney disease. For his charities and his strenuous advocacy of his causes – racial equality in health care, infectious disease prevention and treatment, reform of the organ procurement system, and a broader and more involved sense of charity among all Americans, Dr. Kravinsky has been recognized by many persons and organizations, and is particularly grateful to the Pennsylvania Legislature for passing a special resolution honoring him for his extraordinary compassion and his promulgation of the idea that if the equality of all peoples is to be more than notional, each of us must acknowledge that the needs and wants of a multitude of others are equally worthy of satisfaction as our own.
America’s two most-read publications have described Dr. Kravinsky as an “angel” who is “driven by passions as deep as his pockets” and as the “man with the world’s biggest heart,” while AOL asked its 33 million subscribers to vote on whether or not he is crazy to be so generous. He’s been covered by television, radio, and newspapers all around the world, and was recently featured on The CBS Early Show and Fox’s The O’Reilly Factor – an experience he says he won’t repeat – with three interviews lately on CNN. The Wall Street Journal has reported favorably on Dr. Kravinsky’s business activities as a charitably-minded REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) pioneer, and later as the leader of a successful fight against corrupt management in another New York Stock Exchange-traded REIT. In three recent articles, The New York Times has developed the theme that he is “philanthropy-obsessed” and possessed of a “benign madness,” nonetheless praising him for his success and his public activities.
Dr. Kravinsky has two PhD’s from the University of Pennsylvania, where he taught topics he regards as much more fun than real estate, though he thinks real estate can be fun, too, if you’re making money and putting it to good uses. He is receiving no pay for this seminar for SAAAIDS; instead, net proceeds go to SAAAIDS. Each of Dr. Kravinsky’s degrees and post-docs is in a different field from the rest. He lives in Pennsylvania with his four young children and his wife, a part-time physician and double-full-time mother. Dr. Kravinsky recently started a real estate investment partnership based on the mathematical models he invented for himself, with no management fees charged to charities of whose aims he and his associates approve.
