Bad Dates

Studio Arena Theatre explores the singles scene through one woman’s series of dating disasters when it presents Michele Ragusa in Bad Dates, written by Theresa Rebeck and directed by Scott Schwartz. The solo play is the story of thirtysomething single mom Haley Walker, played by Ragusa. Armed with a sharp wit and a killer collection of designer shoes, Walker dives back into the dating pool after a 12-year dry spell. The character questions whether she will find a man she can love as much as her Chanel pumps or if she will become the old woman who lives with her shoes. Her dating disasters make for a fun and fashionable comedy.
