About the Show

Paul Osborn's 1939 play Morning's at Seven is named after a line from a cheerful Robert Browning lyric. The play is about four elderly sisters in a small Midwestern town who pretend to be content with their lives but secretly wonder if they're running out of time. The play explores themes of isolation, failure, and family life, and how the characters' polite bickering in the first two acts leads to a comedic resolution.
