By the end, souls are wrenched, ideals are questioned, and hearts are left bleeding. Based on a true story, Lillian Hellman’s The Children’s Hour is a drama about gossip’s ability to destroy. Initially banned in Boston, Chicago, and London, the original production ran for a record 700 performances to both critical and audience acclaim.
