Harlem In The Thirties

The Cain Park Alma Cabaret Series presents Harlem in the Thirties, where, along with the swing sounds of the Black bands of Harlem, there will be clippings from vintage films of the 1930’s Harlem band leaders. The songs from the top three female voaclists of the era will be performed; Duke Ellington, Chick Webb, and Billie Holiday.
