The Lion King

With wildly inventive life-size puppets, exotic masks, and costumes, Disney’s adaptation of its popular animated movie, The Lion King is a visual stunner. The 1998 Tony Award-winning Best Musical is directed by the visionary Julie Taymor and features terrific music by Elton John and Tim Rice. The show follows the adventures of the royal lion cub Simba, and his quest to grow up and learn what it means to be a king.
