Triple Espresso

Triple Espresso – a highly caffeinated comedy is a high-energy production featuring original songs, magic and vaudeville inspired comedy. This three-man play showcases the talents of gifted performers in the roles of Hugh Butternut, a dynamic musician; Buzz Maxwell, a disgruntled magician; and Bobby Bean, an ever-optimistic comic. Triple Espresso celebrates the 25-year anniversary of the trio’s ill-fated “Big Break”, and the coffee house setting provides an atmosphere perfect for a fourth performer – the audience!

For this production, the Hanna Theatre has been transformed into the Triple Espresso Café at the Hanna, where patrons can arrive one hour prior to curtain to enjoy coffees and cocktails at the venue’s full bar, and a wide variety of appetizers served tableside before each performance.
