About the Show
"In 1820s Edinburgh, Dr. Robert Knox seeks corpses for anatomy. As a result, lodge owners Burke and Hare escalate to murder for profit, while ethical dilemmas unfold.” This UNT production capitalizes on all spooky and gory things just in time for Halloween. With a cast around 20 students large, this production walks and sings the audience through the horror that evolves during a time when dead bodies are seen as profit. Anatomies, directed by Nathan Autrey, will surely indulge the audience in thrills and spooks. On October 31st, opening night of Anatomies, Theatre@UNT will host a costume contest. We encourage all members of the audience to dress in their most scary, silly, or creative costume. The winners will be announced at intermission on the 31st.
