About the Show
Magic and medicine mix in ¡Curanderas! Serpents of the Clouds, a powerful and moving new drama by award-winning playwright Elaine Romero. This mysterious play tells the story of a young Latina doctor who makes a spiritually transforming journey to Mexico where she meets a "curandera" (a female folk healer), encounters an ancient Aztec scroll, and discovers her own gift of healing. KDT Company Member Christopher Carlos directs.
There are staged readings Wednesdays at 8:00 PM and Sundays at 7:30 PM. The readings are pay-what-you-can and reservations are not required.
