A. D. Players invites your family to share in a larger-than-life adventure! James and the Giant Peach, the young readers’ classic by Roald Dahl (Charlie & the Chocolate Factory), adapted for the stage by David Wood, rolls into the Rotunda Theater September 22.
James leads a simple and happy life for a little boy, until the sudden loss of his parents forces him to serve his cruel aunts. One day, James comes across an old man who gives him a bag of “marvelous things” that are supposed to bring him happiness. But when James loses his secret treasure under a tree, a very strange thing begins to occur. A once fruitless tree begins to grow a giant peach…and nothing less than a giant adventure awaits!
