Connections

Melainie Eifert directs Connections, a new play by Devorah Namm about inter-generational relationships. Nana’s seduction by Manny is nearly thwarted by Hanna’s perception of him as a sex-crazed
kidnapper. Hanna’s “special night” with Sherman is plagued by wedgies, a birthmark in the shape of New Jersey, and Nana’s meddling. Through it all, with Nana’s help, Esther gains a deeper understanding about interrelationships between the generations of women in one family.
