Helen Hayes Award-winner Joe Banno directs Helen Hayes nominee Bruce Alan Rauscher in Edward III. The eponymous king, whose reign was one of the longest in British history, with his son, the Black Prince, gloriously led England into war against France. But because Edward’s mastery of the art of war surpassed his mastery of the art of love, it was easier for him to capture the King of France than the heart of the Countess of Salisbury.
