About the Show

“A storyteller at heart with the penchant for the theatrical” (Washington Post), choreographer Gesel Mason, presents Giselle Must (Not) Die! Considered one of the greatest ballets of the Romantic Era, Mason exchanges pointe shoes for stilettos and deconstructs the original tale to tell a story of transformation, self-discovery, and empowerment.

This nonverbal performance is part of the Capital Fringe Festival.
