Host and Guest

Host and Guest centers around two men, one Muslim and one Christian, who befriend each other despite their cultures’ long-standing hatred. The people from both villages punish them violently for their friendship, and the entire community is shattered by war. Both villages are Georgian, the confrontation between individual morality and ancient community prejudices is the conflict that brings about the central tragedy of this moving piece.
