About the Show

Born in Lebanon in 1968, Wajdi Mouawad later moved to Paris and then Montreal by the age of nine. In his semi-autobiographical reflection, he presents a man who moved to a new country as a child from his home to escape civil war. He loses himself in a new context and language; compromising his self-knowledge and capacity for happiness by his childhood emigration.
