The first week will feature twenty-four 10-minute plays chosen from a national open call and vetted by a distinguished reading committee overseen by Skidmore. Capping off the week will be a 24-hour play-building event in which every piece is written, rehearsed and performed in twenty-four hours. The second week will feature multidisciplinary performances, including spoken word, performance art, dance, music and stand-up comedy. The third week showcases four 45-minutes one-act plays. The Festival will commission these scripts from a select list of local and national playwrights.
